I’m Luthfi. Yes, I lost a bit of weight in this picture. Based in Dubai, I've spent 7+ years leading design teams and building the cross-functional operations that make them unstoppable. Fostering collaboration between designers and stakeholders, and creating environments they are genuinely proud to be part of.
I've always noticed patterns — in workflows, in conversations, in music, in games. Wherever I look, I see structure, and that's what eventually pulled me toward operational-driven works. Most people find this kind of role through passion, but for me, it's just how I see the world. I found this through instinct.
But pattern-recognition on its own is just observation, to actually do anything, I have to have a Human-First approach. I embed myself in the team's day-to-day. Whether through the culture, the chemistry, the pain points nobody talks about in meetings. I put myself in their shoes to design for the people doing the actual work.
My UX practices are a diverse of full-stack design experience across UX/UI, design systems, service design, and design leadership. All with a relentless focus to ensure I can achieve the user and business needs.
I am currently the Design Operations Lead at a digital transformation program in du.ae, one of the leading telco companies in the UAE with over 9 million customers.

I play Dungeons and Dragons, and no, it wasn't because of Stranger Things. It's a way for me to escape the real world and I can be whoever I want. It's fun to play a character of your own design!
I love good music, specifically alternative rock! But all genres in general I'm always up for it, as long it's catchy vibey to listen to!
